Please take a look inside and contribute where you can. We make an extra plea to our families to get the word out about our fundraiser. Remember, many hands make light work. Thank you so much to the families who've begun to donate towards the HMA Fall Fundraiser. Your contributions really do help us out. Students, if you could bring in 10 email addresses of friends and family to class this week that would be greatly appreciated.

Jazz Band, this is it. Our first recording session will take place this Friday. Please keep your eyes out for the permission slip. The turnaround time will be short.

Everyone, Solo and Ensemble will be here sooner than we think. If you haven't already arranged an accompanist for your solo, get on it. If you don't have music picked out yet, get on that, too.

Congratulations to Symphony and Green band members for completing auditions. You can find the results in your schoology or on a slide here.
Seniors, please be sure to keep track of the deadlines for the Senior Concerto. Information included here.
We are in the midst of our fall fundraiser. You can find the link for donating here. There will also be more information coming from the HMA about the fundraiser soon.
Until then, Solo and Ensemble registration is closing today. This is a curricular assignment and expected for most ensembles. Please check with your director if you are unsure.

Marching Season has come to an end. And what an end! Congratulations all around.

With the start of a new season, HMA has launched its Fall Fundraiser. Please get the word out to your extended family and your friends. Marching seasons like the one we just finished do not happen without your support. We've got a big ask this year, but we are confident that our Music Program families will help us to achieve that goal.

Lastly, there are four slides of info about Solo and Ensemble registration and payment. Varsity band members, you, too, can and should consider participating. 

As always, please start a new thread with the directors if something in this email catches your eye.

This is a big week for our Seniors and their parents. If your student is a senior and you plan to walk in the pre-game ceremony, please fill out the Google form. If your student is not a senior, please consider signing up to help out.

Lastly, there is still time to order your band merch.

My sincerest apologies for the late release. 

This week Varsity Band will be in the STANDS!!!! Varsity we look forward to seeing you outside the band room at call time -- 5:15pm. Be sure to eat before you arrive and wear whatever Huron merch you've got.

Speaking of merch, Band merch is ready for orders. Place yours today.

Lastly, please pay attention to the need for donations for this week''s performance. We are running seriously low on bottled water. As usual, we are also low on volunteers, please sign up today.

Our first Marching performance of the season happens this Friday, Sept 13th. Please, please, please pay attention to the calendar of events, the dates and times for all rehearsals and most importantly be sure to order food for your student to eat at the tailgate.

Additionally, it will take a very supportive group of volunteers to ensure that the students can stay focused on their tasks. So, again be sure to order tailgate food. But also, please click on the links for volunteering and donating snacks.

Lastly, there is information about events that are not marching related. Put them on your calendars.

Thank you all for remembering to start new threads when you have questions about anything in the HB Comm emails. Reaching out to the Directors with a new thread is a good way to get a fairly quick response.
